William Jeffcoate (Nottingham, UK) discusses his upcoming presentation at the Hurting Leg session at CX 2021, titled The impact of socio-economic and clinical variables on the incidence of major amputation in people with diabetic foot ulcers. The session, which will take place on Thursday 22 April, will shine a light on the importance of working out why a leg hurts, the impact of COVID on amputation rates as well as a range of other controversial topics in the field.
