KitoTech Medical has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for non-invasive skin closure devices with Premier. Effective since 1 November, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for microMend skin closure products.
Premier is a healthcare improvement company, uniting more than 4,100 US hospitals and 200,000 other providers. With integrated data and analytics, collaboratives, supply chain solutions, and advisory and other services, Premier enables better care and outcomes at a lower cost, a press release explains.
“We are excited to have Premier select our microMend wound closure products for placement in their ‘new’ non-invasive skin closure device category. We believe that Premier can provide an opportunity to help our new technology serve the members of all the Premier acute and non-acute care facilities throughout the USA,” says Deon Miller, chief commercial officer of KitoTech.
Ronald Berenson, president and CEO of KitoTech, stats: “Similar to KitoTech, Premier is focused on improving the quality and lowering the costs of healthcare. They have an outstanding reputation and relationships with an extensive network of hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. We are confident that they will make microMend a valuable addition to the care of the many patients that are treated by their providers.”
